A shot off of CNN’s 10 year 9/11 slideshow… This picture especially stirred me. Not only is it simply a great shot, but I began to think about how my Father sees me… How my dad sees me… How my spiritual father sees me… And I began to weep inside (because I’m still at work). Brothers and sisters, we are loved and CARED for. Our Father cries out to us and for us more than we’ll ever know.  Thank you Abba, Appa, pops.

Elie Saab. Fall 2011 Haute Couture. Need. I. Say. More. ?!?!? 

My friend Sarah (aka Swon) and I stayed up late studying up on our fashion and… We both went a little outta control googly eyed at Elie Saab’s most recent line of couture gowns. 

Check. IT. OUT. YO!

This last one isn’t from this last line.. But, its probably one of my very favorite gowns. It has a little bit of everything I love. The lace, purple, fit… <3 

What a blessing meeting people who love what you love hey?

I’ve been meeting people who love talking about things I like recently. One of my passions is fashion. Man.. So cheesy the whole rhyming thing (passion for fashion). But it is what it is :) I love it. I love studying up on different lines and getting a feel for different designers.. Their inspirations behind pieces and their overall aesthetic. For me, it’s so fun and really exciting. Like this Elie Saab line above.. Man, I was hecka inspired by the whole line. And even more inspired by the people I’m getting to know who are partnering with me. Cuz one day we are gonna turn this fashion industry upside down. It’s going to happen. I’m just saying it’s done ahead of time. BOOYAH. 

And just for fun, here are some of my very VERY favorite things about fashion:

- Bowties

- Velvet

- Lace

- Suspenders

- Neon

- Color blocking

- Braids (in the clothing)

- Layers

Oooof. I love me some fashion. And I love my jonasar ladies. Thank you for being my sisters!

Didn&#8217;t realize at the time but one of my boys is drinking outta a cup of love ;) wahoooooo! Drink up sweet boy!! It dawned on me big time today that people hardly tell the ones they love that they love them. Sad no&#160;? Sad to go day after day without hearing or telling people in your life &#8220;I love you.&#8221; When did that phrase get taken out of context and become a cheesy uncomfortable line&#160;? At the school I work at a past principal enforced a school rule where students had to greet teachers by saying &#8220;I love you&#8221; instead of &#8220;hello.&#8221; In Korean, everyday &#8230; Hundreds of kids tell me &#8220;sarang hab nee da&#8221; (사랑합니다) . So I say it back to them and they all cringe haha. But I think it&#8217;s so important to cultivate a culture of expressing love. For starters&#8230; Saying &#8221; I love you&#8221; more often. Dont wait til it&#8217;s too late to tell people you love you love them!
